In August 2020, our Damp Team applied Dryrod, a industry leading rising damp treatment, to a client's home, demonstrating its superior ability to address current damp issues and protect against damp in the future.

Dryrod is an innovative damp-proofing rod designed to create an effective chemical barrier for your home against rising damp.  This damp proofing technology is formulated to penetrate deeply into brick and masonry, providing a long-lasting solution to rising damp.

Dryrod Application Process

1. Assessment: Our Damp Specialists conducted a thorough Damp Inspection to identify the extent and sources of the rising damp. We concluded that Dryrod was the best suited Damp Proofing product for the job. 

2. Preparation: We drilled holes at regular intervals along the brick, ensuring precise placement for optimal damp proofing results.

3. Application: Dryrods were inserted into each drilled hole along the brick. The rods began to release their active ingredients immediately, penetrating the masonry and brick, establishing a damp-proof barrier that would be active for years to come.

4. Curing: The Dryrods were then sealed in with mortar to restore the wall's appearance and integrity. Job Complete!
