In July 2020, our Damp team applied Stormdry, an advanced masonry protection cream, to a client's home, showcasing its exceptional effectiveness in combating damp issues.

Stormdry is a breathable, colorless, and water-repellent masonry protection cream designed to penetrate deep into brick, stone, and concrete. Unlike surface treatments that wear away quickly, Stormdry's unique formulation ensures long-lasting protection by creating a water-repellent barrier within the masonry itself. This provides a long term solution to Damp.

Stormdry Application Process

1. Assessment: Our Damp Specialists conducted a thorough Damp Inspection to identify the extent and sources of damp. This step ensured that Stormdry would be applied to the areas most vulnerable to damp, treating and prevent damp for years to come.

2. Preparation: We cleaned the external walls, removing any dirt and moss to ensure optimal application of Stormdry to treat and prevent Damp within our client's home.

3. Application: Using specialized equipment, we applied Stormdry evenly across the brick and masonry. The cream quickly absorbed into the bricks, starting the protection process immediately.

4. Curing: Over the next 24 to 48 hours, the Stormdry cured, forming an invisible yet powerful water-repellent barrier within the masonry, giving our client's home the "seal of approval" against damp!
